About Philip
Philip Cassidy has long been regarded as one of Ireland’s top cyclists. At the age of 21, he secured his first major win with the much coveted Ras accolade, had held the yellow jersey in two more editions of this race and surprised the nation when he went on to win it again at the tender age of 37.
In 1984, Philip and Brian Connaughton, another great Irish cyclist, used their accumulated years of experience to open their now highly successful bike shop ‘Cycleways’ in Dublin city centre.
In 2005, Philip indirectly ventured into the world of club cycling clothing production when he realised that there was a demand in the market for top quality clothing. He quickly formed what is now yet another highly successful business.
